Full-Scale, Multi-Session Learning for Leaders
Strategy-Trainings are full-scale, multi-session learning experiences designed for both leadership level and managerial level participants. Their structure is in keeping with the Strategy Launchpad philosophy of delivering uncommon knowledge that creates uncommon results.
Currently, we are offering a Master Class Training Called the Leadership Competency Project.
The Strategy Launchpad Leadership Competency Project provides a systematic process of defining, measuring and addressing important competency gaps that leaders have. It also provides a unique job and people management process to help leaders make sure that the individuals they lead and the organizations they manage blend into a successful match.
The Leadership Competency Master Class is divided into several modules:
Module One: Defining and Benchmarking the Job.
This demonstrates the importance of bringing clarity and focus to the parameters of critical jobs in an organization. The challenge of the transition from ‘good to great’ in a knowledge-based economy starts with a new appreciation of human capital. In addition, human capital management and measurement starts with this job exercise.
Module Two: Measuring Your Competencies.
This is an essential step in any human performance improvement initiative or whole company intervention. From selection and induction through talent retention and succession, if you can put the right person in the right position you dramatically increase their potential to succeed. Measuring the match between the person and the job is made easier by the scientific profiling we provide.
Module Three: Developing Your Competencies.
This is where you explore the significance of master principles and best practice tools and techniques to create immediate effectiveness. Critical topics are explored from personal and organizational blockages to critical success factors that high performers in all disciplines utilize on an every day basis. Turning talent into competency and excellence is the goal.
Module Four: The Implementation Commitment.
The hands-on exercises in this module allow the theory to be translated into personalized and customized action points. Just as all learning starts with good theory so also does all change start with a commitment to taking action and then implementing the planned action. This module will produce the execution blueprint, or Personal Business Plan, which you will keep by your side all year round.
